An own song production as a team-building workshop

Course of Events

First, participants of the event get to know their workshop leaders in a short musical staging. Shortly after they are introduced to their new musical task. The corporate team is divided into different individual workshops with various musical groups and tasks. There they are trained under the expert guidance of professional musicians and workshop leaders in a contagious crash course. One of the groups produces the basic sound in a mobile recording studio, while the next group writes and sings or raps the lyrics to a song with company content. In addition to creation of the song includes "solos" that will be implemented by the other workshop groups in form of Brazilian, Spanish, African and Cuban salsa rhythms and various instrumentations. In Addition a dance performance group can also be coached in a workshop.

Song performance: Lights out, spotlight on - your team in the limelight!

In the various workshops, first single foundations and sequences are produced and rehearsed. At the end each workshop is connected to a song and performed live together. The corporate team becomes a creative orchestra, which successfully meets the challenge of interaction in a short time. The hall turns into a stage, while the corporate team rises to become the highlight of the evening. Not just the usual show act, party band or DJ is in the spotlight now. In only 30 minutes the premiere of an own song performance is created.

  Workshop: Rap

  In this workshop communicational content, concepts and goals of the company are wrapped into lyrics under professional guidance. The workshop participants present the resultant verses as a rap as part of the concluding song. For international groups, this may also be done in English, Spanish or even multilingual.

  Workshop: Voices

  In this workshop, the refrain of the song based on your personal topics and company-specific content requirements will be composed and written. With it a fitting stage choreography is rehearsed. A professional singing coach will lead participants.

  For international groups, this workshop can be held in English, Spanish, and even multilingual.

  Workshop: Afrika

  In this workshop participants play an African drum, the "djembe". 
Under the professional guidance of an African drum master a rhythm is rehearsed which will act a part in one of the solo passages of the song. This workshop provides an inspiring collaboration with wit and power!

  Workshop: Drum Olé

  This is the workshop with the smallest drum kit in the world: the Spanish "Cajon". Alternatively, we have developed the patented "baff" - music furniture, which next to their superior sound also serve as convenient and high-quality event seating

  In this workshop, participants sit on the instrument right from the start, the Cajon or "baff" - Music Chair. The special design of these instruments provides a wide acoustic spectrum of sound options, which resemble a real drum kit.

  Workshop: Boomwhacker

  In this workshop, the so-called BOOMWHACKERS are handed to the participants. BOOMWHACKERS are sound bars, which produce different high tones through their different length, and thus become a melodic instrument.

  The group is divided into 3-6 groups and creates a common tonal rhythm with the BOOMWHACKERS, which is used in one of the solo passages of the song.

  Workshop: Recording Studio

  In this workshop, participants produce the basic arrangement, which serves as the basis for the collective song.

  The workshop participants are introduced to the musical work in the studio. The participants themselves such as drums, guitar and keyboard up to DJ-scratching carry out the input of the instruments at hand. The mobile recording studio provides professional recording technology, as well as various other musical instruments and various technical musical possibilities.

  This workshop is the foundation for the overall arrangement. It can be omitted optionally. In this case a playback is produced beforehand which serves as the basis for the other workshops.

• Movement and choreography to the rhythm of the team song

The number of workshops is understood optionally, from two groups up to 10 workshops. The workshops are suitable for 10 to 2,000 people according to scale and what is desired. Location, number of participants as well as budget is adjustable accordingly. The optimal duration of the workshops is between 1.5 - 3 hours.

Song Production

The song production is to be adjusted in advance regarding terms of musical, stylistic and textual content.

Sustainability

The team song will have a lasting emotional impact. The song is sung and whistled by the participants even months afterwards as the musical phenomenon of a catchy tune takes effect. The workshop and/or production can also be documented on DVD, CD. The main melody of the song, the chorus, can also be produced as a mobile ring tone - as a follow-up for participants.
